When we create a new company around technology, we reach out to private investors to generate the funding needed to move the company to the next step. The model we have built is for investing in and profiting from innovation, including many technologies that have significant potential social benefits, some of which may never get to fruition without a means of improving the harvesting and the yield of ideas in their early stages.
